Penpal Party has penpals from 173 countries although, despite the name, it doesn’t feel much like a party.

This is probably a good thing because Penpal Party does well at serving the more important purpose of connecting pen pals with common interests around the world.

Penpals: 21,000 +

Activity: Hard to tell (as there is no recent or online list)

Hidden email address: Yes (but if you contact someone they get your email address)

Internal messaging: Not really (introduction is sent through their system but follow up are through your email address)

Profile pictures: No

Block penpals from contacting you: No

Ability to hide/pause account: Yes (instructions are contained in a welcome email)

Pros: Penpals from 173 countries. They have a section exclusive to teacher / classroom exchanges with the ability to search.

Cons: No easy way to determine how active a penpal is. No photos on the profiles (may be a benefit to some).

Penpal Party: http://www.penpalparty.com/
