Letter writing helped form a long lasting friendship - which for 62 years has defied a distance of 12,000 miles.
Now, after more than 400 letters and 200,000 words, Joyce Sims, 80, and 78-year-old Waverley Neutze have met for the first time since they became penpals in 1947. Amazing story of 2 women who were first introduced via a newspaper advert as teenagers and have written at least three times a year ever since.
